Weekly flights to the Indian city are set to more than double to 10 a week from 15 December 2024. The boost comes less than 4 months after the route was launched.

Increased Global Connectivity

The flights between Abu Dhabi and Jaipur will operate on Airbus A320 aircraft where passengers can enjoy Etihad’s acclaimed service in both Business and Economy cabins.

As well as demonstrating the route’s popularity, the move is one of several which further reinforce global connectivity. In addition to taking advantage of increased flights, travellers flying from Jaipur to the USA can streamline the immigration process by visiting the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility in Abu Dhabi.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad said:

We’ve seen sensational demand for this service, and in response, we are giving even more love to India by increasing our weekly flights, providing the frequency and convenient timings our guests desire. This expansion gives Indian travellers easy access to both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while offering smooth connections to our global network, all with the promise of an exceptional flying experience.”

Strengthening Ties with India

Etihad recently celebrated 2o years of service to the subcontinent. In the past 12 months, it has highlighted its commitment to the Indian market by increasing capacity by more than a third. This strong growth, coupled with offering smooth connections for passengers travelling from Jaipur, shows dedication from the airline to deepening its ties with India.
